to visit my country is better to get some importants informations about it:

   take the usual precautions when u are traveling (enough money and cameras)

  carry a copy of your indentify documents and keep the originals with the other valuables in the hotel safe.

  When taking a taxi look for taxis authorised by the municipality-in Lima they are usually painted yellow and have an iluminated sign on the roof

   in Lima drink only bottled or boiled water and avoid eating at street food stalls.

• 
  
  prevent altitude sickness or "soroche" by resting the first day after your arrival in the highlands and eating sparingly.Drink coca leaf tea.

  if u are going to the highlands or the jungle, take insect repellant and waterproof clothing.

• 
  
  Dont change money in the street. Do so in hotels, banks and authorised bureaux of change.Most banks are open until midday on Saturdays.

  to fly to provinces, there are direct flights from Lima to the main provincial cities except Chachapoyas and Ica wich are reached by intercity bus.
