Miraflores:the flowery district of Lima

In the last time, most of limeans and tourist have made of Miraflores the most viewed district of Lima. Not just for the well-know shop lanes or cinemas, theaters and galleries that offer classic and avant-garde exhibitions or pubs or discos where you enjoy has no end.Miraflores is even more, because visitors can see different facing a sunset at the seafront and because the district keeps a cosmopolite character without losing the distinctive ecological, historical and heroic profile.

Larco Ave & Diagonal Ave.
A day in Miraflores beginn at the Oval, a very important meeting point prefered by many generations of limeans, with fine cafes, restaurants ans his nice Kennedy Park, a shelter for painters, folk bands and rose vendors. From here, one can take two ways: Diagonal Ave.that crosses passage San Ramon, commonly known as "Calle de las Pizzas" and where mainly the youth gather to parties.

 "Calle de las Pizzas"
the other way is Larco Ave, with fabulous sales, ending at the seafront where u can find one of the most exclusive shop centers of the city: Larcomar, near seafront there are many Restaurants offering the oportunityto taste the peruvian cuisine, one of the most exquisite of the world.

Huaca Pucllana

After table chatting you can visit Huaca Pucllana and its fine Museum, another busy place if you are looking for antiques, move a few blocks by la Paz street,Cantuarias or Alcanfores Street, there you will find nice peruvian Handicraft and beautifull filigree of Silver.

In general Miraflores is a safe and organized district, with taxis and buses riding all day and keeping the tourist interested on visiting one of the most busy and dinamic areas.
